Welcome to Age Concern, Haslemere & District

My name is Jan Allen and I'm the Manager of Age Concern at Haslewey, in Haslemere. It would be lovely to see you at our Centre where we run a varied program and have lots of different things going on during the day. Occasionally we go out in the evening to shows and the theatre.

A mini bus can collect you from your home (for a small fee) and the building we occupy is lovely and spacious. We are fully wheelchair accessible and we have a care assistant 3 days a week for people who require help to join in our activities. Haslewey has a café which offers tea coffee and home baked cakes and snacks, and also serve a 2 course hot lunch. Pop in and see us, we are always pleased to welcome visitors and new people to our friendly centre.

11.00 - 12.00pm: Bingo in the Lounge
1.30pm onwards: afternoon of social get together, tea, coffee and entertainment. See Monday Socialising for more information

10.00 - 1.00pm: Computer Group drop-in 50+ in the meeting room
12.00 - 12.30pm: Chair based exercises in the activity room
1.30pm onwards: Whist in the main lounge

Wednesday

10.00 - 11.00am: Tai Chi class
11.15 - 12.15pm: Crib in the lounge
1.30 - 3pm: Art Group for 50+ in the Meeting Room

Thursday

11.00am: Scrabble in the Main Lounge
1.30pm onwards: Bingo in the Main Lounge

Friday

11.30 - 12.30pm: Yoga 50+ in the Main Lounge
12.00 - 2.00pm: Computers for the Clueless class
1.30 - 3.00pm: Grandparent & toddler group in the lounge
2.00 - 4.00pm: Computers for the Clueless class
